We used a mic dynamic vocal and the iPhone voice recorder app to record the make voiceover for our short films, this ensures the viewer can still hear us clearly even when there are loud noises in the background. However, in scenes where we are outside, we kept some of the sounds of the wind to make it seem a bit more realistic. Before this, all we heard was the wind and nothing else. This meets the generic conventions of a short film.
Khairun has included copyright-free music in the background of the short film to make it more interesting and engaging. And used foley sounds such as the wind which makes the viewer more immersed as it is realistic. Music and foley sounds are a generic convention in short films.
